The man, who lives in Armidale in the state’s north, was in disbelief after the ticket he received for his birthday was one of two winning Division One entries in Monday and Wednesday’s draw.
“This has got to be the best present I’ve ever received,” he said.
“When I scanned it online and it said I won $1 million, I couldn’t believe it.
“I thought it was just a mistake, so to confirm it is just crazy.”

The winning numbers in Lotto Monday and Wednesday’s drawing 4389 on Wednesday, May 15 were 28, 43, 4, 37, 38 and 15, while the extra numbers were 16 and 33.
