A 50-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a van at an intersection in the Victoria region.
Victoria Police were called to the intersection of Victoria and Queen streets in Ballarat East about 6.05pm on Friday.
“The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man from Delacombe, died at the scene,” police said.
The van driver, 25, from Prahran, was uninjured.
Police arrested the man from Prahran and took him in for questioning.
“The investigation into the collision is ongoing,” police said.
