A 48-year-old man has been rushed to hospital with a large knife still stuck in his arm after a brutal attack at his home south of Adelaide.
The man was seen with his face and hand covered in blood as paramedics frantically treated him outside his home on Hamilton Road in Aldinga Beach this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the house about an assault at around 12.40pm to find the man with a knife stuck in his arm.
He was rushed to Flinders Medical Center where authorities said his injuries were not life-threatening.
Witness Jason Heywood said: “Considering it looks like a big knife, he’s very lucky.”
“From what I’ve seen, he seems like a good dude and I’ve never heard or seen anything bad other than now,” Haywood told 9News.
Police searched the area for the attacker but made no arrests.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack or has information to come forward.
