A new Star Wars action series The Acolyte takes viewers back to the golden age of the Jedi, before the rise of the Empire.
Set a century before the events of The Phantom Menace kicked off with the Skywalker saga, the long-awaited Jedi thriller follows a “shocking crime investigation” that ends with “a respected Jedi Master pitted against a warrior from the past,” the official synopsis reads. “As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark road where sinister forces reveal that all is not what it seems…”

Joining them in the series are Manny Jacinto (The Good Place) as Qimir, Dafne Keen (His Dark Materials) as Jecki Lon, Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll) as Yord Fandar, Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim) as Mother Aniseya, Rebecca Henderson (Russian Doll) as Vernestra Rvoh, Dean-Charles Chapman (Game of Thrones) as Thorbin and Yoonas Suotama (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as Kelnaka.

Episode release schedule for The Acolyte
The first two episodes of The Acolyte’s eight-episode season arrived Tuesday, June 4 at 6:00 PM PT on Disney Plus. For the rest of the series, the episodes will drop at the same time, 6pm PT/9pm ET every Tuesday:
