Two people killed after crash with truck in South Australia

An investigation has been launched after a man and woman died in a crash in South Australia.
Police were called to Owen Road in Magdala, in the north of the state, at 2pm on Friday after a lorry collided with a Toyota Ute.
The jute then hit a utility pole and snapped a power line.
The occupants of the ute – a 63-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man – died on the spot.
SA Police said they were from the local region.
The 65-year-old driver of the truck was not injured in the accident.
Owen Road was closed between Roennfeldt Road and Magdala Road until 12.30am.
The deaths mark the 35th and 36th lives lost on South Australia’s roads this year.
